BRP Group is a Canadian manufacturer of snowmobiles, all-terrain & side-by-side vehicles, 3-wheel motorcycles and personal watercraft.Founded in 2003 with manufacturing facilities in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Finland, and Austria, BRP Group has been building on a tradition of ingenuity and intense customer focus that go all the way back to 1937. BRP Group now has a total workforce of more than 20,000.
Before SaleCycle, the team at BRP Group were struggling to reach and capture the information of users coming into their website. Without a clear-cut solution to enable them to reconnect with visitors who had abandoned their carts, BRP sought a comprehensive solution so they could specifically target these customers and turn otherwise missed opportunities into additional revenue. The company was also facing difficulty identifying and capturing the information of anonymous visitors on their website in order to engage them and boost their conversion rate.
To address these challenges and reach their objectives, BRP Group set out to specifically target customers who abandoned their carts. To boost sales and conversion rates, they included “limited stock” reminders in the emails for some of their products to create a sense of urgency. The campaigns are run throughout the year across all their brands to maximise conversion opportunities while also creating special campaigns to engage with customers during a sales period such as Black Friday.

BRP Group also utilised SaleCycle to run targeted campaigns for their Black Friday sales. They incorporated a banner in their cart abandonment emails to showcase Black Friday promotions and free shipping, resulting in an additional $53,000 in revenue and a 4.78% increase in overall sales.SaleCycle was able to identify a significant number of anonymous users for BRP Group, over 15,000, during this promotional period.

BRP Group transformed their approach, using SaleCycle to discover new revenue streams and achieve a level of reach beyond what was previously possible. By identifying anonymous users thanks to SaleCycle, BRP Group can now capture their email addresses and add them to their database, creating additional retargeting opportunities and recovering thousands of dollars in lost sales.
The company will continue to leverage SaleCycle’s cart abandonment campaigns, while also leaving the door open to expand into other features for more retargeting opportunities.
