Air Caraïbes is a leading transatlantic airline based in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe. Founded in 2000, it primarily operates long-haul flights to the Caribbean from Paris, while expanding its network through a partnership with its sister airline, French bee.
Together, they now serve destinations including French Polynesia, Réunion Island, and the United States.
The airline carries over 1.5 million passengers annually and was recently named the 4th Best Airline in the Central America & Caribbean region at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards, reflecting its continued excellence in service.
Air Caraïbes is also among the first airlines globally to achieve full Green Pilot certification, showcasing its and French bee’s commitment to more sustainable aviation.
The first stage in Air Caraïbes' remarketing journey with SaleCycle was a two-cycle email abandonment campaign. This was targeted at users who left the airline's website before completing their booking.
To re-engage hesitant passengers, the emails were designed to make it as easy as possible to complete the booking. To do this, dynamic personalisation elements were introduced. This included the flight destination and dates of the booking that had been abandoned.
Marketing Permission Service (MPS)
Building on the email abandonment campaign, Air Caraïbes also implemented SaleCycle’s Marketing Permission Service. This allowed the airline to expand its database in full compliance with GDPR.
A discreet on-site pop-up was displayed on the Air Caraïbes website to increase opt-in rates for re-marketing emails. With this consent, the airline was then able to successfully target any users who abandoned their booking.
